RockHard Racing NorCal Rock Racing Wild West Shootout

Justin Hall PodiumJustin Hall of RockHard Racing piloted his number 13 Suzuki Samurai to a 2nd place 4500 class podium spot this past Saturday at the NorCal Rock Racing Wild West Shootout at Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno Nevada.

Wild West Motorsports Park is home to one of the biggest short course tracks, home to Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series, Ultra 4 National Championships, and the NorCal Rock Racing Wild West Shootout. The track consists of huge elevation changes with massive jumps and just for the Wild West Shootout insane rock sections.

Justin arrived at the track late Friday night with a rig prepped and ready to go. He went to unload the car Saturday morning and it would not fire. After narrowing it down to the fuel pump not working and Justin and team swapped out the pump for a brand new unit.
NorCal Rock Racing Wild West Shootout consists of two heat races with four laps each and one main with six laps. Justin had a great plan to play it conservative in the two heat races and save the number 13 ProComp Tire equipped race car for the main. Justin would finish 2nd place in the first two heat races which would land him a starting position on the front row.

Lined up next to an extremely fast car, Justin knew he had to pull out all the stops to try and take the win. Green flag drops, Justin gets beat off the line, at the first rock section Justin took a much different line then the other racer and was able to make a pass. After keeping the other car behind him, going into the final turn of the first lap Justin and the other race got tangled up and Justin went for a ride. Cartwheeling and landed on his side, Justin waited for course workers to Justin Hall Jumpingright side him up. By the time they did he was a half lap down from the rest of the field. Justin worked quick and smart and passed the majority of the field. On the very last corner of the race, Justin made the pass and crossed the checkered flag for a 2nd place finish.
This race shows the amount of determination Justin has to be on top. That determination is based off the quality of his equipment which is the best in the business. Justin would like to thank all his Marketing Partners that have supported his race efforts: ProComp Tires and Wheels, RuffStuff Specialties, JM Rigging, FabWorx Offroad, R&B Co., TK1 Racing, and South Bay Driveline, All Terrain Fab, Team 208 Motorsports
