Artec Industries Relocating to Salt Lake City, UT

artec-logo--iconArtec Industries LLC., a leader in innovative aftermarket off-road vehicle products, announced today it will be moving its headquarters over 800 miles, from Benson, Arizona to North Salt Lake City, Utah at the end of 2015 to accommodate the company’s growth and distribution. The move will be tripling Artec’s current facility size to over 12,000 square feet and includes the addition of new production equipment, manufacturing processes, increased inventory, advanced research and development, and greater customer service.
Artec’s incredible growth and the addition of major distribution channels throughout the US made it necessary to expand in order to better serve their customers. This expansion will include the addition of a new state-of-the-art fiber laser machine which will increase material cutting speeds up to 300% over current capabilities. In addition to new manufacturing processes, an expanded shipping and inventory department will result in faster order processing and Salt Lake City’s more centralized location will mean faster shipping times across the continental US.
“We are thrilled to move to our new facility – a space that will foster ingenuity, provide greater production capacity, and increase efficiency,” said Artie Nuttall, President of Artec Industries. “We have such amazing customers and this facility will allow us to provide even better service to them and countless more in the years to come.”
“We’ve been looking at locations for over a year now, and the Salt Lake City area was best situated to meet the needs of our growing company and allow us to provide superior customer satisfaction,” said Nate Price, Artec Chief Operations Officer. “It’s proximity to four wheeling destinations for product development and available industrial suppliers, made it the perfect place for our Made in the USA products to be manufactured.”
While much of the Artec team will be making the transition, additional personnel will be needed to accomplish plans to double its staff over the next year. Hiring will begin in late December and more information can be found at ARTECINDUSTRIES.COM/CAREERS.
